    Hi all,

I'd like to explain my set up and ask for help from those of you that are getting page 1 results in google using your methods.

I personally have been concentrating on unique content in the form of re-writes which I spend much of the time doing. I've now taken on 2 outsources to help in the workload from time to time. All the content is placed on core web 2.0 sites to build authoritative pillars in their own right.

From there all links are run through 200 ping sites, two indexing services, rss feads are created and submitted to 102 rss directories.

Then spun social bookmarks are created and submitted 20 a day to a list of 500 social bookmarking accounts. All links are stored and checked for indexing, live links etc.

Now that in of itself is quite a good strategy BUT it does take time and more money if I try to speed up the process by giving more to my team.

So the question is - would I be best ditching all the re-writes in favour of highly spun articles?
I wanted to make sure that all my links stick indefinitely and for that I thought the only way would be to take the time and spend some money in the process.

My personal thoughts on this so far is to keep doing what I am doing and add spun content to article directories as tier 2's to tier 1's to help raise the pr on tier 1's -

Then there's the spun content that could be used for free press release sites.

My process has helped me get over 30 keywords targeted to rank on the first page with some hitting top spot with a good number top 5...

My untested theory is that spun content can be used for anything and will get indexed as long as it is reasonably unique, it will shoot the sites up in the rankings in a fairly short space of time but will then drop off fairly rapidly as content gets removed and links de-indexed.. Would that be a fair assumption..

Just like the saying "if you build a house made from cards"

What are your thoughts and do you have any results?

Spun articles will get your site spinning out of control - then who knows de-indexing - maybe for the lucky ones a BAN!

Spun Content is the best way I know to wreck a website!

Thanks for the reply but I'm not talking about spun content for the money sites or client sites

Hey there QuizBomb, I would say say that spun content posted on web 2.0 sites will definitely help increasing your rankings in the short run but will not be a viable long term solution to maintain a high SERP ranking with all the updates.

I should have been more clear... for the web 2.0s, Wikis, Article directories etc for backlinks I use spun content. On my sites everything is original content.

Thanks for the replies - I'm still of the opinion that building out a set number of high pr web properties with non spun content is a smarter way to go for the long term but I wanted to get an idea on the results people have had in getting top 3 in google with everything spun.
