Does showing up around 50 spot after 6 days of launch count as sandbox?

I am a bit confused about this concept, some say it is while others say it is not. I thought sandbox meant no matter what you wont show up for that keyword. Well what is it?

Why would you think its a sandbox? Isn't it a good thing?

Besides, have the rankings stuck around 50 for a few days or just appeared to disappear again?

I have had sites appear around 30-50 within 15 days of initial link building but then falling back to 100+. From there they usually climb slowly up if everything is done correctly.
So may be it should be something similar with you too.

As about sandbox, i don't really believe something like that exists. In my opinion google has just slowed down the ranking process in order to prevent sites with links dropping too fast from ranking. I do however agree upon google's random ranking factor

Its been a few days and it has been around. Besides I agree, that sandbox might not be a thing but getting to first page has been slowed down.

Correct. Also google will at times not rank a random site, no matter what. Or at least i am not aware what factors are involved in differentiating between two similar sites, with similar backlinking profile, similar onpage content and seo. I conducted a test in december last year to verify this. Out of 5 similar websites, only two ranked.

I would love to hear more from people who have experienced this.

This is a good sign man. This usually happens to me as well; whats going on is the Index is refreshing (And the Algo is flipping out about your site, trying to weigh everything up.)

If you stay there for more than 14 days, then I would start to worry.

I am not building any links right now so I am sure it will stay there, I am writing content and trying to keep it updated though. This has happened with me multiple times, I think the key is not acting like a SEO at the start. I always build social profiles and natural links first.

I just assumed that not being able to get on the first page was sandbox.

No such thing as sandbox thingy.. The search engines require some time to identify your website hence don't think so much.

We're looking at delivering quality info across to other users and a new site can't possibly contain all the info like an aged site, no? Anyhows, you're doing really well but do check your competitors' ranking and bl
