Theres no single article if quality of nofollow links matter in term of SEO.
Don't think it makes a difference. Any other opinions on this?
Oh boy, this thread again.
You're going to get like 80 responses. Half of them will say:
Nofollow links have an impact in the SERPs, maybe less than d0follow, but still significant
Good nofollow links can build valuable traffic even if less important for SEO
Important to have some good nofollow links for diversity / natural link profile
The other half will say:
Google gives no value to nofollow links
Don't spend any time building them
They are all worthless
And no one will agree on anything.
Tl;dr: If you have a chance to get good nofollow links, take them. Probably focus more on d0follow where possible. Don't discredit the potential value of nofollow links.
A better question: does no follow links matter for anchor dilution?
If you got the quality Nofollow links such as from the top authority sites, then it's really helpful to earning the traffic. Also, it helpful for the Link diversity.
It did. Not sure about now, but it might be a spam signal if you put only EM anchor as ******** and generic as nofollow to give some balance to the EM anchor. and theres no way to track it, because, our nofollow anchors can be also related to the page, aka LSI. The only way to spot such manipulation, is to count the naturality of ******** backlink profile and nofollow profile separately. I believe they will do that, or they are doing it already.
