If I set up Tracking202 and use it for my CPA campaigns, would my affiliate network see my referer as the Prosper202 installation, or would they see my blog?

I saw someone mention using Tracking202, the affiliate network will see the Prosper202 installation as the referer, and not the actual source (such as blog). He also mentioned we shouldn't be using scripts to hide the referer, because Prosper will do it for you. But he also noted that he uses a script to hide the referer IF the Prosper cloak fails. So the member didn't explicitly say 'Prosper202 does it for you by default.'

Is this correct, and does it do that by default? I wouldn't mind using P202, if it showed the P202 directory as the referer.

I can't test it myself because I can't remember my Prosper password, so I'm waiting for the password-reset confirmation.

On the standalone self hosted version of prosper202 there is a 1 click option in the settings to cloak all campaigns but if I remember correctly DEFAULT is off. But it can be changed for all campaigns with one checkbox, I can't comment on the hosted version however as I have never used it.

That said prosper202 does leak referrers sometimes so as your friend mentioned have a secondary verification of the referrer and scrub/drop any malformed or leaked referrers before re-directing.

Okay, thanks for the information! I can't get to the 'get links' page because the 'method of promotion' box is loading, and has been for 10 minutes now. I had this problem a long time ago, which is why I never used it.

I'll just use Wordpress CPA-Redirector to make sure the referer isn't leaked.

P202 doesnt cloak by default, but every time you add an offer you can choose to have p202 cloak for you. And you actually maybe to have change the cloak settings in the high level settings on p202 so you dont have to choose to cloack every time. Either way having p202 cloak means that it will show no-referrer to the CPA network, but if you dont cloak the referrer will show as your p202 domain.
