Growth is possible in the early stages if the niche is less competitive, the content aligns with the intent, and on-page optimization is done well, Google will still allow experimental traffic. However, as competition increases, without backlinks, it's easy to stagnate or decline. Backlinks aren't necessary from the start, but in the long run, they're almost mandatory if you want to maintain and expand your rankings

Posting content regularly does help a site grow, especially in the beginning. Google likes fresh and useful content. You can get some traffic without backlinks, but backlinks are still important later for strong rankings.

Yes , Posting content regularly can help ranking even without backlinks because it signals freshness and consistency .Publishing useful and well optimized article targeting long tail keyword increase the chance of index and appearing of search more queries. However regular content can take traffic and usually fast ranking in google.
