does Pinging work on "pages" or just "posts"?

    Is there technically a difference?

I have a few wp sites that are predominately "pages" (as opposed to "posts") and I ping them when there's a new one. Is that worth my time?

Ping anything and everything you can. In my case, each of my posts is a new static page, and that page is what I ping to as many services as I can.

Anything that will notify the SE spiders that you changed/created/made a page can help. You can use pingler.com to hit 90ish of the top ping sites in 1 go.
