I know someone that is trying to improve their credit, and she can't get a credit card to help improve her FICO. Just now I noticed PayPal pushing me into deferring payment on a purchase under their "Bill me Later" program, so I'm wondering if this qualifies as a "revolving charge account" that would get reported to Equifax, etc....

    Does anyone know?

Give them a call from Skype, it's free.

I suppose they do. At least, they do that when you don't pay on time for any reason. Had this happen with a friend - credit ruined.

I know eBay reports to the credit agencies and that means PayPal must follow the same system. I also know someone who has
poor credit due to unpaid eBay fees.

Thanks for the responses. Somehow I missed the 1st two. I don't know that much about credit. I'm a Dave Ramsey kind of guy. I has assumed that if they reported, they reported, but it seems like some only report when the news is bad?

They are only going to take time our of their precious lives at eBay to threaten you with your credit score when you owe them
money. They are not doing any favors by reporting anything good that's for sure.

I like Dave Ramsey too. Cash guy myself

Have they tried Capital One? Usually easy to get a credit card through them. You start off with a small 300 dollar limit, which is perfect for your small monthly purchases and paying it off every month. They raise it continually over time.
