Hi,

I have a website since 7 years ago, Main keyword was raked in position #52 in google, I just built 50 backlinks in the last 10 days, It went to position #18 in google and stayed there for 3-4 days, and only yesterday it dropped back again between #42 to #50. Is that normal ?

It is perfectly normal for a keyword to jump. Google tests the CTR and user retaining on the page. You can even get a featured snippet sometimes and just lose it after a couple of days. Just keep working on it and don`t expect to get big results within just 10 days.

Positions on 2+ page of Google search results can be unstable. It is ok to have such fluctuations. If it was #5 and then dropped to 30# for example, then it would be a reason to concern..

Yes, this can happen pretty much the same as for a new website, especially if your website does have a low number of links, a weak backlink profile & not getting any decent traffic,
This can be related to the type of links you're using as well and most likely done because of some cheap/weak links

Thank you everyone

Thank you so much, So yeah that's not a penalty or so ? Does that have anything to do with the current links I build ? I mean that is an indicator that my links are low quality?

Soon your website will disappear....if there is anything unnatural detected by G...

Most call this the "Google Shuffle"

Yes, its natural. The sign of it jumping to #18 usually suggests where it will naturally fall, once links settle, IF THE CONTENT that is back-linking to it is actually engaging the readers

If the content is crap.. It will fall down to that #42 position or worse than before.

People think they can buy any type of writing in 2021, and it will stick.. That's TRULY INSANE way of thinking in this digital age where Google's updating their technology by the day

My website has 2200+ posts, Every single one is written by native English copy writer and we already make Adwords with over $100$k/month with paid monthly traffic over 1mil clicks, We just decide to start SEO, Do u think building 8 links a day is much ?

Not at all, if the links are coming in a natural way.

Real back-links generally comes from news or new demand for a certain topic. The majority however, NEWS.

I can't elaborate but you should be able to think this over and get it.

Think Natural. Look at google search, what's natural? Quit thinking 'cutting corners' and you wont' run into a brick wall
