Im reading about this around the internet, and it seems that they are shaving some leads

Today 1 guy told that he signed up with my link and i cant see my comission. So this approves that they are shaving money.

Anyway, who have experience in this ? And what you think about this BS ?

yes they shave leads but not like crazy like cpa networks run on hasoffers ,
if you want to lower shaving factor join cpa network hard to join , as hard to join
as you will get less shaving .

Slightly off-topic, but what exactly is "shaving"? Is it a straight percentage an affiliate applies to all marketers, or is it marketer-specific? If an affiliate has a problem with charges being reversed, etc... why wouldn't the term be something more straightforward, like "cancelled" or "disallowed" ? "Shaving" sounds like they are stealing from the marketer, and if you read all these posts basically the consensus is that all affiliates steal from their marketers, and I highly doubt that that is the case.

I think it's more likely that some marketers are using blackhat, dishonest, manipulative and/or tricky methods to get visitors to convert, and then when the smoke clears the visitor wants their money back. So, taking back the money that was gained dishonestly isn't "shaving", it's taking back what either wasn't earned or was stolen.

Truthfully, I read about so many marketers making so much money, and then I read all these posts from certain marketers wailing and carrying on about the fact that affiliates don't like to pay commissions for sales they do not get and I'm surprised that some of these affiliates don't simply troll this forum and blacklist anyone here that makes-up these kinds of accusations, and permanently ban them all from ever working for any affiliate, ever.

If you have a problem with an affiliate, post a shitlist thread, or find another affiliate. If you are getting commissions off sales you don't actually make, you've go no business making posts that sound like the affiliates are ripping you off, when it's really the other way around.

At least that's how I see it, unless I've got it wrong?

Shaving is when CPA network or affiliate network dont pay for your leads.

In this case i use highly targeted emails, all from USA and i send them offer releated to what they are looking for, + i check if that offer allows email traffic.

Problem is that i have money there, i need to earn some money to get limit , so i can cash out, but if they shave so much , then its almost impossible to make $$$ :D
