Does logging in to any Google account screw up your SERP?

    Noob question here but is it me or whenever i sign in me website appear to be higher in serp than it actually is?my site is dancing at the moment so i dont know.

    Yes, now google using your account to track what website that you like from search engine. So, more often you search and visit a site when login, that site SERP will get higher (when you login). I heard also, that google track cookies at your internet browser, so they know what site that you visited more often, then put these site at higher SERP. That's why sometimes SERP can be different in a computer and another computer. (Just my opinion)

    Probably because you've clicked on your own site? If you're logged in, G search history will remember that you like your own site, so it will show it to you higher up in the serps than it really is. Also if you have your site listed in Analytics it may do the same thing. Always log out to check serp placement.

    As mentioned, then will it affect your own SERP results. You should always log out of G and clear your cache before making a raking serch. Or use other was as suggested.
