Hey Black Hat World,

I am a recent user of Jarvee and I am looking to manage a few clients' IG accounts in the future. I am wondering, is it better to have the Proxy IP for a given IG account in a particular city?

FOR EXAMPLE: Let's say that there is an owner of a Los Angeles cafe who is only able to post videos once a week, but wants you to manage his IG account to schedule posts, like, follow, and unfollow. You use Jarvee as your automation tool and SSL as your proxies. BUT, SSL says that your proxies are based in Detroit, Chicago, and Miami. Is it better for you to change the city of your proxy to Los Angeles in this case or does it not make a difference?

I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me answer this question! Thank you!

In my experience, I have issue when the Country is different from my last login. IG will keep asking for PV. For cities wise, I am not so sure as I am always on 3G on my mobile ( i uses bot and my phone to access the same IG account concurrently). So the IP is always chanigng.

Usually, it doesn't matter.

But, as your accounts (your clients' accounts) are already mature and active and if they are local businesses, it is best to choose location-specific IPs.

However, even so, without specific IPs, you can still use other IG proxies. Your might have to verify the account when you connect to IG for the first time, but as the accounts are mature, there shouldn't be any issues.

Thank you for your swift reply. I can totally see why IG would raise a red flag if an account is accessed in a different country. I had that problem when I outsourced my social media accounts overseas.

So do you use Jarvee with your phone? I am also wondering if it matters if IG is accessed from different devices frequently. For instance, my client may want to post a video from his phone which is a different IP address than the one I would use with Jarvee an hour after. I am just really afraid of being detected by IG's algorithm.

I will not advise you to use this on your client account. In my case, I am able to access from my phone and botting at the same time. I did not place any link nor share any link in my account, you might want to factor this for consideration. IG can certainly detect but if you fall within normal user range, they will just leave you alone. Example, in my case, I do not spam nor receive any complaints from other users on IG. I think this helps since I am not abusing the IG system. I am able to follow/unfollow much more aggressive than others.

Just to clarify, are you saying that the more mature an account is, the less tolerable IG's algorithm IP locations that are not in the same location as the business?

Also, isn't it bad if you have the same phone number or email associated with the multiple Instagram accounts? I'm sorry I am sure that is a complete newbie question, but I am completely new to all of this.

It depends on how many accounts you're booting...
