Hi, i am plaining to do more white-hat blogs (as well as black hat ones of course) but i wonder if i use .co.cc instead of .com or .info would it effect my blog ranking?

anybody uses .co.cc and have good result?

I also have a .co.cc domain, but 'im not using it. If anybody has some good experience with these domains, please let us know.

Co.cc domains are really hard to rank on google. I advise you using .info domains they only cost 1$.

Everything matters!

Why use a free subdomain if you can just buy a .com for $8? Well, if you plan to build disposable sites, then sure, co.cc is yours to utilize, but if you plan on doing a site for longterm, then heaven's sake get a .com and dont be a cheapskate.

co.cc is obviously not good for SEO

the .cc domain is a local domain extension (cook islands if i`m correct) so they should rank well in that area, but worldwide they are as good as the usual country domains like .nl .de. .be .es domains,

but they are perfect for redirects and that kind of thing. sounds better as a .info in my opinion, and a good domain with keywords is still easy to find,

Yeah i guess .co.cc is bad for ranking. Come to think about it, i've never found any search results with .co.cc blog or site ever! not on the first 3 pages on SERP anyway.

Well you have to compare the number of dot coms in existance right now that are established compared to the co.cc's. I'm sure there are some co.cc's that are competitive, but the problem is geographically a .com is going to be weighted heavier across the globe.

I think using a co.cc your just setting yourself up for a struggle. Better to spend a few bucks and get a com or net.

Yes it will affect your SEO

Over 7,860,000 .co.cc websites have been indexed by Google and if you search for some, they are at the very last page.

I agree with the others
No point in trying to have a co.cc domain and rank high in google because it wont work.

co.cc are good for disposable blogs or for redirection or just trial sites

co.cc is bad..

Looks cheap, even .info 100 times better
