Does it matter if I weekly guest post from same site?

IIs this considered abusing the niche blog site...I'm only able to post because I paid to become a member in these niche sites, which is expensive per month.

I'm tempted to use other outreaching services, but they charge 300 for DA 30, sometimes it's not even niche, just a blog with category on niche.

Yes, in another form: is it OK to build backlinks from the same website continuously (e.g. blog or forum)?

yes that's what im asking. they are directory sites that allow do follow blog/article post if you're a member.

It's good to have that strength, but better to have link diversity.

got it. i have a little bit of diversity, around 50% are from guest post i had to pay awhile back from other sources, some beefed up web 2.0s, a few HQ domains (huff, business.com), a few PBN's and now i need to fill the gap with these 4 directories (that allow blogs and articles posting) that i want to post on a weekly basis.

Hey,

You mean posting a new article on the same niche blog with a link to your money site on a weekly basis for a long time? I don't think that is a good idea.

When it comes to link bulding my thinking is that it should look as natural as possible. Do you think what you asked happens naturally? I don't think so.

So, if I was in your place I wouldn't send more than 1-2 links (max a couple of) from the same site to my money site. That still looks natural to my mind. Although, I must say, as I have never done it, because I never thought it was a good idea and so I didn't want to risk my money sites, I am not sure if it is actually risky or not (if it increases the chance of a penalty).

Another thing I would think about is that when Google sees that there are many links pointing at a site from another one, it may decrease the power of those links. So, maybe by pointing link to your money site from that blog continuously, you will just decrease the power of those links by time.

Anyway, these are just speculations as I have never tested it. Hopefully there will come someone who has experience with this and has maybe done some testings, too.

Yes exactly. I hear you, it's all speculation. I'm just going off link reports from the guys who rank and almost each one has their own secret sauce. But what you said might be true, because I rarely see tons of post coming from same site.

I tend to look for sites that allow directory submission along with article/blog posting. It's only been 3 months and I am outranking my competitors in a crazy metro area but not on first page. but then again, im the new kid on the block and it's only been 3 months. But I have noticed a drop in serps but then seen some increases in high volume keywords that im really not aiming for but are money!!

I guess all in moderation

I think it looks to spammy what you're trying to do.

Thanks for replies. I just wondered how many of us would take advantage if we had a client that was a dentist and he forked over the bill of 500/month for a placement on 1800dentist.com directory which is a powerful site, but allowed for blog postings. Would most of us just do one blog a month? Obviously these sites always claim to give you leads but that's never the case. IM's are obviously just paying because of HQ.
