Does it have any disadvantage if I use "mydomain.net" or "mydomain.info" instead of "mydomain.com"?

Yes it does. Google gives .COM higher authority but you can still outrank .COM with .NET and .INFO by building links.

No,edit: Traffics Pain might be right thou, the click through or simply trust rate might be lower on a info. Never tested that.
The only instance iv'e found it makes a difference is country specific tlds.

I tend to agree that generally the extension has little effect on serps. It doesn't control the quality of the site. Where it may make a % difference is in click throughs tho as people tend to prefer the generic .coms

I personally stick to .com's first and then use .net or .org. I never use .info as it has a spammy reputation.
