Does GSA draw complaints? I almost think it acts like a proxy scanner

I've recently started using this program, and I'm wondering if, not used correctly, could it almost be illegal? It kinda acts like a proxy scanner in that it's constantly searching the web for platforms on which it can post.

Does anyone get complaints from using it?

I've set it to avoid .mil and .gov, hoping that will be sufficient.

There's a big difference between proxy scanning and GSA.. proxy scanning scans range of ports on a computer which is illegal in many countries, while GSA is scraping the web by visiting pages, thats not yet illegal :)

True, it's not scanning ports, and hopefully it's only scanning by domain name, and not ip ranges. It still makes me a little uneasy, though. lol

Google and all rest SEs and crawlers are doing just the same man, they are simply visiting all pages in the world. Do they feel uneasy?? :)

They have enough $ in case of a lawsuit. :) But true, it is basically the same thing in practice. Good analogy. Thanks, I appreciate anything that eases my mind. lol
