I was reading some threads on here about the "Minus 30 penalty" which can be caused by a number of factors, and wondered if clickbank affiliate links will put you lower in Google's SERP's? I had two pages on a website that were getting 300 uniques or so per day, right out of the gate (they were both brand new pages that had affiliate links in them from the beginning). Then after a month or so Google stopped giving them hits. Do you guys think it was just because they were new pages and Google readjusted it ranking of them, or because of affiliate links? Also, do exit popups hurt a pages ranking? Almost forgot does using the "no rel" or "no follow" tags eliminate this problem? Thank you!
