    Hello,
    this is a good question.
But i think this is a normal Domain like .de .com .nl etc.
    Google doesn't prefer some domains.

Regular Google.com DOES prefer .com the most. In their country-specific versions (e.g. google.de) they give preference to the same tld domains (e.g. de). Test it yourself - do a search with your keywords and you'll see.

But if you take it for a auto/blog I often read that the .info domains don't convert as good as .com

I don't know the reason why that's the case.

If you take an info. domain and try to mask it they generally don't like it.

just to add i have many .infos ranking organically however a reason you dont see many .infos is probably because they are not as favored as much as the .coms by webmasters, and tend to be associated as spammy, throw away domains and dont really look as professional as a regular .com

age is also a big factor when it comes to organic ranking and this often comes apparent too with .coms ranking higher than .infos due to them being registered a lot longer than .infos... .infos are a relatively new tld...

if your doing a big campaign i would recommend trying to get a .com
