I still don't have a definite answer to whether Google crawls IPv6 only sites. The articles I find online aren't of much value. Was wondering if anyone has a definite answer for me because IPv6 Addresses are so much easier to get a hold of than IPv4's.

    Hey adam,

It actually does crawl ipv6 only hostings, I had one on a dedicated and it got indexed . But let me tell you that this will hurt your rankings , my website didn't rank well until i changed my hosting . I didn't even build more links or any before the migration.

To be sure that it was Ip related, I switched back to the ipv6 dedi and the ranking tanked again. Maybe it is due to the fact that ipv6 isn't widely deployed already, and that google wouldn't rank it because of the high bounce rate back to the serp due to the impossibility to connect for ipv4 users.

    Hope this answers your question.
