Does google care if you have curse words in your content when ranking? For example, if I wanted to add a little fun to the 'about' page for a money site and throw in a few words such as ...

We really think (....) is the most badass shit we've ever seen when it comes to (....)

    vs. the vanilla answer

We believe (....) is the best we've ever seen when it comes to (....)

I realize 'best' might be a better keywork in this example, but wondering if they rank down at all just for having curse words in there? Some websites claim yes, others say no.

As someone who curses regularly in text but rarely ever online or in actual websites, I say to just not bother. Why have 20 words and have 10 of it be filler when you could have 20 words of quality instead?

I generally completely avoid it for money sites. It hints upon a lack of professionalism and seriousness. But whether or not Google cares, that all depends on what level of SafeSearch your potential site visitors have their search set to. Here's a couple (very old) articles/questions on it:

Tbh if they did, 99% of their porn results wouldn't show up. Or even "fucking" as a wikipedia entry, which is 1st result when you google "fucking". 4th result I see is "Have You Tried The New Way Of Fucking?"

So my educated guess is that they don't care. What I do see is that they are quality results, so like Sherbert said, if you have 20 words, 10 being filler, they would prefer 20, where the swear words are actually part of the topic.
