This might seem like a silly or blatantly obvious answer but I cannot find one.

We all know to not aggregate inter site linking on the same IP but does this extend to things that google has access to like Analytics and Webmasters Tools?

I recently was inter-linking between relevant subject sites and thought Google might not give me as much relevance to the site link if they see I am the webmaster on both accounts...

If this is true, do we open an account for each site?

    I am being paranoid?

How do you deal with this potential situation without giving a clue to google via these useful services?

    Thanks

    Yes, you are being Paranoid...
There are more than hundreds of millions of webmasters account... Google has to either recruit a full fledged army for scanning these accounts or design a very rigid algorithm.

There is no need to create new account for new website... Just work the way you are doing.

Must be nice to live in your world.

Paranoid? Maybe but why take the chance?

The less information you give Google the better, they are in the information collecting business and never throw any of it away. Why give them any more than you absolutely have to. My question would be why are you setting up your sites in Google's webmaster tools to start with? Unless you are doing everything 100% by the book (Googles version) you are just handing them the rope to hang you with.

Your answer, def put some humility into me. I cannot believe I overlooked such an obvious example of why I should not use their webmaster tools

I guess then here is the next silly question: What would or could I use to track my own websites rankings within the google serp's?

    Thanks
