OK so I know google have said check your back link profile for anything dodgy looking and remove it if so with our disavow tool. So now they've given us this feature they're free to go ahead and penalise sites that have just spammed their money site. How ever they cant expect us to check the back link profiles of tiers of links ! So for example I might have an awesome web 2.0 pointing to my money site but 100k of spam pointing to the web 2.0. Google can't penalise people for that if they detect it can they? Because how are legit webmasters (white hat) meant to detect that!?

Hopefully you can see my point? They can't penalise people for something they can't defend agaist/detect and therefore we can exploit this?

To be truthful, Google can do whatever the hell they want. That's the power of a monopoly. However, I think you're worrying needlessly. Tiered link building works. Will it work in the future? who knows. Get on with building your site with strategies that work and make some money.

In that case, the particular web2.0 will get penalized in google (even if it doesn't have your link), then the backlink from that web2.0 won't give any good.

So what we're saying then is that the link juice will not pass if detected (looks spammy) but site shouldn't get penalised?

That is the case now. ie., If google detects a link as a spam, instead of penalizing the site that is being linked to, as it was in the past when they launched the Penguin update, now they ignore that link and it's worth(link juice) which essentially is making the spam as worthless. But you can still expect to see a shuffle on your SERPs with mass spamming to your Tiers but it'll eventually settle down.

This has been 'exploited' for ages, Tiered linking still works very well and will continue to work. I've spammed thousands of links with GSA etc to my tier 1's and even if they get pinged, it rarely effects my money site.

Interesting. I'll keep it contextual and see what happens. Thanks for all the responses :)

I am tired of these kind of threads. Google can even penalize you without any reason.

Just have another OBL to an authority in your niche.

They aren't going to penalise them, so why would they penalise you...

The good thing about web2.0s is, you could remove your links from them when penalized.
