I just wanted to know if Gmail passes IP in its headers? How about other main providers (yahoo etc)?

yes gmail does when using software such as thunderbird and outlook and not sure about other providers

Gmail will only include the IP in the headers when you use smtp to send email. If you use webmail to send no IP will be included.

All other major providers include IP in the header even if webmail is used to send the message.

so use chain if ypu want ot hide yourself
