Does Freelancing count as experience in india ?

    I am applying for few government jobs but i dont have any experience certificate since i have been freelancing from 5-6 years..i want to know if freelancing can be counted as any experience ..i dont have any document or certificate t o prove my experience lol

    Well, if you do FreeLance work on sites like eLance or oDesk and you've received feedback from your customers then yes, this could be a form of experience that you could provide as you could attach these reviews to jobs that you've completed showing the areas that you have experience in.

    No it doesn't . No serious company in India will count freelancing experience, forget govt jobs :p
