Do people actually buy expired domains?

Let's say I find an expired domain with PR 2, and a good sounding name. Could I purchase that for the few dollars it costs to register, then flip that on flippa for more?

I am thinking about finding expired domains with PR, and selling them with 10 articles, and some SEO included. 77

Would that work on sites like flippa?

Has it really kept its pr?
    Was it deindexed or unindexed?
    Will the content be relevant?
What kind of da/pa tf metrics does it have?

There are a lot of factors that you should consider

I flip expired domains but I do it a bit differently. I crawl the internet looking for expired domains. I find hundreds each week so I register the best and leave the left unregistered but I maintain a list. I then make bulk sales to people who want a PBN. I don't put content on them. I have seen a few people selling PBN's on Flippa but I don't see much of it. But if you do have added content and have PR plus good DA and PA, you should be able to sell them.

This will surely sell on flippa, but it needs a lot of research before you can have any success, people are very careful with flippa this day's :)
