IN LONG TERM?

What do you think. Experiences?

Not in long term. Power will fade over the time since it doesn't have any content to rank for.

Thxs,

I knew you thoughts about this issue in other thread.

Does everybody agree?

I think if the expired domain has verifiable backlinks which exist and if you check at wayback machine and you come across that the site has good content spread + if you see that some content I still appearing indexed at google then 301 redirection would surely passion the link juice to the domain, the expired domain is being redirected to.

Does everybody agree than in LONG TERM is not really usefull?

I redirected one relevant expired domain to my money site. The expired domain has a good backlink profile ranging from no-follow Wikipedia backlinks to do-follow genuine editorial links.

No changes I've noticed so far in the past 2 weeks since I redirected.

Hope that helps!

everytime, works like charm.
The question comes down to the specific expired domain that you selected.
If traffic flows from the links of expired domain to your website after 301 (aka link juice), nothing like it.

From experience, yes, it works.

I'd give thought to topical relevancy of the pages linking to the page you're 301ing and the target page (i.e. don't redirect pages that have links from pages about tractors to pages about cats and expect much juice to flow).

I'd also give thought to the target page's link profile after the redirect.

Lastly, you'll need to encourage Google to crawl all of the links to the page that are redirected several times over several months.

There has been so much discussion on the subject that Google has surely add a few lines of code to its algorithm to counter it.
I think it would be more judicious to put back the original content and to place a link on the home.

conflicting results. If the expired domain occuppied similar niche. Imagine redirecting BathroomsRUs.com to DonaldTrump2020.com

Redirection works just fine, the question is what are you trying to achieve with the redirection. You need to provide more information to get a truly informed answer on this.
