Hi just wondering if someone could answer this, I don't really want my paypal and ebay linked together, but Paypal says I must have ONE main payment option selected before it allows me to list items, so wondering when you list different paypal emails when completing a listing automatically link them together and get you suspended on ebay? thanks

    Does it Matter?
As far as i know you need to have one as a payment option but you can change it when you are about to pay for an item using another paypal.

I have old paypal on my ebay account but I pay for the items using another one.

    I hope this helps.

You add one paypal as main and it get linked to your ebay account. Then when you list something you can add a different paypal aemail to receive the payment.

It does not - I've used one Paypal to pay for several ebay items before.

As for the paypal account you do not want linked to ebay, do not hook it up to anything that is associated with your ebay account. So if your paypal email is "email1", do not put that email on ebay. Instead, create a new email named "email2" and put that in ebay. Do not put the "email2" email address into your paypal account with the "email1" email address. Let "email2" have it's own paypal account. This is how I've kept a personal paypal account for years without it ever getting linked to my suspended ebay account. Surprisingly, I've never had a bad incident with paypal.

Ah ok, I meant from a seller's point of view, sorry I should've said that before. I want to sell items on ebay, so I guess I would need ONE fully functioning Paypal account to enter as the Ebay MAIN payment option where I will be receiving the money, but I really do not want to link them together in case something goes wrong.
If I enter this PayPal email manually after every listing, can this Paypal email be changed at any time on the one ebay account? I don't have to keep the same Paypal seller ID for the life of the ebay account?
    I hope that makes sense.
