Hi guys,

First time poster here, have been reading on BHW for a while and got a lot of useful tips.
My Facebook account + business manager got banned a while ago.

Not fun, but sh*t happens..

So I have everything set-up fresh now, new aged account, business manager, new device, dedicated new IP etc.
My only issue right now is the payment method and I hope someone can clear things up for me:

I live in the Netherlands and my IP is also in The Netherlands.
The facebook account that I bought was from Mexico, I changed the location to Amsterdam and also verified phone.
The business manager that is connected to the account was created in Thailand.
I have a Dutch creditcard.

My questions are:

- Does it matter that the BM was created in Thailand, and will FB accept my Dutch CC? (If not, do I have to get Thai creditcard? If so, how?)
- The name on the CC is my real name (which is the name of the banned account), which is DIFFERENT from the current FB account name, does that matter? Will the CC get rejected if the names don't match?
- Does Facebook also looks at where the FB account is made? (Mexico in this case)
- Does Facebook check CC billing adress? Does it has to match with something?

I hope the questions are clear, if not I would gladly provide you with more information.
I haven't advertised in 2 months. I really want to get back!

Thanks.

Yes, it does matter!
I don't wanna answer to all your specific question, but giving you a look through FB's eyes.

Facebook installed so many security layers to understand natural behaivors and block scammers right away.
So if your assets and business information are not consitend, they'll block/ban your Accounts & your payment method sooner or later, that's for sure.

Thanks for your answer. Let me be clear I only run WH, just real ecommerce. Could you be more specific? What steps should I take to not get banned based on payment details and location etc?

IDK what WH means and I also can't provide any exact steps, as I'm not one of the engeineers of that underlying security layers :D

If it's a real Business, you don't need to concern too much becuase in case of a block you might have some documents on hand to proof ownership, I guess. Ideal, all of you assets was created in the same location to avoid any system alrams.

It can sometimes. It probably won't matter in the short run, but does if you want it to last for a long time.

Hi, have you had any success using this method. Could you share some info on this process to this fellow Dutchman?

If you are using virtual cards then IT will based by bins, plastic cards based by country of issuing bank.
example: if a cards issued from UK , USA then it will never an issues to use on any country accounts, but if the cards issued from out side Of USA and UK then It Has Risks To Be Suspend/Disable The Account.
