    Hey Guys,

I have a blog on a shared hosting site that is pretty slow. I am thinking about activating cloudflare but had read some reports that it hurts seo. It is ranking very well and do not want to risk a hit? Any advice is appreciated.

    Thank you for your time...

    T.

I don't think it would impact it bad. I mean, it could improve site performance and help, but there are 1000s of sites using CDNs like CloudFlare.

It could be an issue if you were putting your PBNs on a cloudflare, and your moneysite only had backlinks from cloudflare domains, but this isn't the case so it doesn't make sense to be a problem.

Switch to a SSD VPS if your website is slow. You should see a big difference. Cloudflare shouldn't be an issue.

This has been discussed many times here and on many other forums for years. Everytime the same type of answers comes, cloudflare don't hurt your SEO.... anyway, I was in exact same position as you for not long time ago, my conclusion after switching away from cloudflare my SEO got much better, when I switch back it get worse... make your own tests, I will defiantly not use them again.

I used another CDN which is also better. I used Incapsula. It won't ask to change name server but you will need to change Cname, TXT etc. Google it, You will find more about it.
    Thanks mate

Cloudflare has not adversely impacted my sites ranks in the various search engines.

As I said, got such replies many times before, no comment... I just don't want to work with CF anymore because for me it cause more damage than good!
