Does buying traffic to my fiverr gigs improve or decrease ranking? The reason I'm asking is because technically buying bot traffic will increase my impressions & click count, but it will decrease my conversions significantly as well. So i wonder if it actually makes sense to do such a thing, because some people recommend it when it comes to ranking gigs on fiverr. However i can't see the point of buying traffic, as fiverr should be much more interested in a high conversion rate. What are your thoughts & experiences regarding this?

    Thank you!

As far as i know fiverr keeps tweaking their gig ranking algo. What works today may not work tomorrow. If you can take the risk then try it out.

Over the long run boosted rankings end up hurting you.

In all honesty there's no reason to do this anymore as they make the system more fair... If you wait you usually end up with secrets which only come with gradual rising.

Try growing slower to get the gist of things and before you know it, you'd be better prepared, have quality increases + acquire more feedback.

I honestly don't know why you don't just make some high quality bot accounts and buy your own gig to rank it...

Not sure about the ranking for this. However, why not pay like 50 people to review your gig? That will be a big plus.

Wouldn't rank your gig, and wouldn't do anything good for it. If anything, having all that traffic to your gig with no orders would be worse than having little to no traffic and no orders.

    It doesn't make a difference.

Adding some reviews along with the views may give your gigs a boost though.

Quantities of completed sales matters the most. Get accounts to buy your own gigs. This will help to propel your gig to the front page. Do this from multiple non sequencing IP addresses from different countries and paypal to be safe. At the end of the day, this is what makes Fiverr money and the single point that interest them most. Feedbacks are the second most important aspect. But if you are buying your own gigs then there is no issue to give yourself the feedback. Depending upon the niche that you are targeting, usually 50-100 gigs purchased would push up your gig ranking in a single day. But remember, your ranking will decrease each hour when there is no sales happening.

Inside scoop: a freelance dev I know used to work at fiverr - they are deep in changing their algorithm so expect big changes with regards to what you're speaking about. It will affect you negatively unless you are very clever about it
