Does buying an aged domain name with backlinks still give you an advantage for SEO?

High Page Rank :) It's almost 2020...

Again "aged" domain. Age of the domain is not a ranking factor. Age of the website, as in how long it has been indexed, yes. That's a massive one.

So for the sake of accuracy, let's call them expired domains. And yes, they can provide a lot of value, both for PBN purposes and as money sites. But, ideally, you need to know what you are doing. You can't just get whatever domain you see fit, put 3 articles on it and then cry, because it's not ranking.

There are dozens of threads here talking about this, I am sure you can find them easily.

Yes. The aged domain name with backlinks gives an advantage of SEO.

Dont just go with high page rank mate. Check other tool matrix such as DA and RD ..that will give you fair idea.
