Does bad grammar affect a site's ranking?

    Lets ignore bounce rate or anything like that. Lets say you have a site that is based on spun articles that that dont have the best grammar. This is a blackhat site so any manual review would lead to a deindex. But does Google have something in it's algorithm that could punish a site or deindex it if it has bad grammar?
