Does anyone still do the buy an old domain and 301 it to pass on age thing. Since penguin

    Does anyone still do this to pass on age to their new site? Does it still help? If so what is the rules when doing it and how does it work :)

    Age and PR based in my experience has a huge impact in SEO. And yes, 301 redirect still works.

    Yes this still works, works pretty well to be honest. Just don't link a bunch of aged domains to your site all at once.

    I have one old site that has been moving up pretty well since penguin and I haven't done a thing to it in months. It has an aged and pr2 domain redirected to it with the main KW in it.
