Does anyone make money with a one step sales process anymore?

    They say that it takes one to seven points of contact to make a sale would anyone recommend it? I always believed you should get a opt in and then direct them from your opt in squeeze page to your sales page and then market to them intermittently IE every 2nd or 3rd email try and sell them something? What are your thoughts on this? If I'm hacking facebook with the facebook dominator to get the traffic is this likely to result in sales if some of the traffic is being directed to a sales page without being warmed up first?
