Real talk. With all due respect to developer (you are doing great job!).I don't see anyone making money without bots or without spending money. I know bots are very helpful and they definitely give you a huge boost but lettuce b real tea I don't want to buy a bot and then find out it doesn't work for me. I am pretty new to IM and still in learning phrase..I have used lot of methods (free ones) that were listed here and only made few cents here and there (I can't cash them out either because most websites have $10 minimum cash out) ..so is there any method that pays good without spending money?..I mean once I have made $10 in a week I'll be ready to buy a bot because I'll know it works but it seems kind of pointless to buy a bot if I am not making any money in first place...

    thoughts?

Man, you don't make money with bots. You make money with a method. The bot is just something to scale your revenue.

Of course, you can buy a bot, and make no cash with it. It's not the bot's (or developers) problem that you don't make money with it, it's your problem. Maybe you buy let's say a tumblr bot, and you don't make nothing, but maybe somebody else is making $100/day with that bot, just because he knows how to use it.

The best way, is not to buy a bot, before you try a method. Try a method, if you make $1/day, you will make $100/day with more resources (like bots).

You don't need to have a bot to make any money. Let's say you're a great article writer or a graphic designer for example :)

how do I make that $1?..that's the real question. I have tried few methods and all ran down to few pennies per day...I am sure if I scale them up I'll be making good money..but buying proxies, bots etc still require money...I think to be succesfull in IM you need some start up income otherwise you'll have to wait for months till your free blog gets lot of traffic and you get that $1/day

Why is it that people think internet marketing is any different to other businesses?
My bricks n mortar business cost me £30000 to start up!!
Every business has start up costs.
Jeez! Proxies n bots are pennies to start a business.

For PPV you don't need any bots, just for some basic data entry. And almost all super affiliates do only PPV. When you start media buy, you don't look behind.

You don't need a bot for everything. There are many methods that work well that require very little investment and pay very high. There are also ones that require no investment. Find a method that would need a bot and do it manually for a few hours and if it works, buy a bot.

All the money I have made online has been without bots. After using bots for my site, my earnings went down instead of up. It seems like automation always works for only a short time and then google and others catch up to it.

I am now taking a different approach at SEO and doing things more white hat, but still automating tier 2 links.

Personally I just can't live without my bots right now, I became so used to them. Everyday tweaking them, coding them or re-coding things done by colleagues, making them better day by day, using them for something that probably most won't use them for.

When I started on IM I never used a single bot and made some cash, but now I just feel that not using them would be such a waste of my imagination -and yeah, time-.

I am by no terms a coder extraordinaire, but, I would recommend anyone starting on IM to learn a thing or two about making simple slave-like bots. My rule for this has been to go learning at the same pace my imagination and new IM ideas go.

Ahh, and I took all my first bots straight from this forum's Download Section in case you are wondering. And the first bot I coded was just to make some tedious tasks easier and faster, and from that day on I just have not stopped using them for my advantage.

Provide a service on free sites that are your talents and strengths. If you cannot invest, you are labor. It's why people make dishes when someone is providing the house, main course + goodies, and entertainment. You can't buy? Work.

Don't look at bots as a type of advantage different from any tool. It's just a power drill or a circular saw, and you have to know how to use it or you're putting yourself at risk.

Now, being pragmatic: I consider form-filling and macros to be bots, other people don't. I know the thread was intended to mean "does anyone make money without automating their process" and the answer is emphatically: No. At least no one making the amount of money they could be by optimizing the effort they're putting in(hopefully this last sentence silences the "manual SEO" crowd who are so proud of being pretend-Amish).

No business thrives that does not find a competitive advantage through some sort of automation. Businesses are machines, albeit unnatural ones as we try to make them stay perpetually in motion through use of energy the business produces itself (profit) to counterbalance its entropy (costs). As machines, their natural tendency is towards automation; a machine slowly evolves more and more into something that is almost a natural organism. To look for ways around this is like saying "oh, we don't need metal tools, these stone ones work just fine, and they have integrity." EDIT: or better: "We don't need oxen to pull the plow when we have our own two hands. Sewing machine? I'll use my hand-spun loom, thank you very much."

Even purely manual SEO providers are complaining about rank drops and sandboxing, so at the end of the day it rests on who you are and how well you work. If you have the skill, a bot is just an extension of your hands.
