Does anyone know how to show watermark after x amount of days?

    Hi,
    Today i see that Canva images expire after 24 hours, and then a big watermark appears in image. and if you pay the watermark vanish, how is this done? photoshop? is there any software that does it? Thanks.

    .png file that changes itself? Strange, never heard of it.

    same here ,i know Canva does it so there must be a way?

    I have used Canva many times but you only have the option to choose between paid and free photos. As for paid, you must pay immediatly, so are you sure?

    well i used them many time ,then the other day,they say i can only download draft copy, and yes 24 hours laters it has big canva watermark going through it. i uploaded it to a website, how the fuck can they do that???

    Ffmpeg and a simple script could achieve this pretty easily.

    Did you check your file type? What is it? If it's .png or .jpg, it's not possible for the photo to change.

    yeah it was png, it had no watemark, then 24 hours later it has watermark so hows that? something in png that expires?

    so you think its a script of some kind???, im in shock ,all these years, i didnt know there was such power in a jpeg or png. i thought once picture was created they were dead.

    it scares me , i will never download another image from google, Images are becoming websites, with tracking built in. no one knows unexplained i guess. ok so been told its to do with batch files.

    Can't be. If people can place scripts in .png files then anyone can infect an computer with a RAT or keylogger

    Ffmpeg is an image editing API, so instead of opening a graphic in Photoshop and twiddling with it, you can do so with an ffmpeg script allowing you to very simply modify images and videos on your web host. If you download an image from them, a day later it's not going to have a watermark on it. Only if it's left on their server.


    Also the other thing you're referring to is very common as well, refer to stegenography and Mime-type spoofing.
