Does anyone know for sure if it's against the TOS to post ad links in video descriptions?

Is it against the TOS to have a tinyurl with your hoplink to a product related on that video? as long as the video belongs to you? Just need to make sure

    Thanks

If you are referring to youtube I do not know, but what I do know is that I have over 100 videos which I copied and I use my referallink on every single one. 3 months passed, still not banned.

Yeah I have had referral links in hundreds of my videos descriptions for over a year now and no account has been banned. I don't think you have to worry about it. Plus, how would youtube be able to tell which links are referral links and which ones are just regular websites that the poster is offering their viewers.

sometimes its just about luck too and if those links aren't adult/porn related or dont break any TOS they are less likely to get banned but it can still happen

AFAIK there is no specific rule against it.

In fact, there is a guy in piano niche who has a good channel and sticks his CB hoplink in this description.

I don't think there is anything illegal to post your hoplink as far as you are not spamming youtube to death with the same link lol.
