Try bizbuysell.com then.

But you should seriously advise your friend to get a broker who will do it properly. The 10% or so he would save doing it himself really isn't worth the hassle, unless he's well versed in business law, has contracts drawn up, an escrow account etc. The list goes on...

My advice still remains. If you don't know what you are doing, you're probably going to do more harm than good.

I know you mean well, but in some business cases it's best to pay the professionals to do what they are good at. This is a situation when it's definitely best to accept your short-comings and leave it to someone with experience.

totally agree. i've been down that road and it's not a jackpot that just anyone can jump into and turn a quick buck. if it really was that easy then there'd be no need for professional brokers. :D

and, based on many wasted hours, i have no doubt the owner will end up hiring a broker.

Yeah, but what's screwing a friend if you can get a little commission? It's just a hotel, no big deal if the transaction goes south and everyone ends up getting sued because the guy didn't get professional assistance.

well you see, google does not give you these advices that i got from everyone here ;), this is a IM forum and in my opinion there are people around here that know lots of stuff about lots of types of businesses. I guess i will leave it up to a professional after the advices i got from all of you guys, i don't mean to harm a friend, my intention is to help him as crisis caught up with him aswell, of course the commission would have been great but no point in damaging his business.

thx fro your advices meathead1234 and scarlet pimp :)

What the heck? Does your friend know you have absolutely NO idea what you're doing? Does your friend know you're on a blackhat marketing forum's lounge section asking people where you can sell hotels?

Oh dear. I'm glad I'm not your friend.

If you really are a friend to this person then go and tell them you're sorry but you don't know what you're doing and that they need to get this done professionally otherwise you're going to lose them a lot of money.

hotelsforsaleworldwide dot com

Classic.

google, the papersource online for endless help requests like the one posted above.

these are all "brokers" who constantly need assistance to close deals... :D :D :D

I've bought and sold many hotels from what I learned at monopoly dot com. :D
