I would imagine that since so many people here are interested in IM that some of you must actually be apart of legitimate companies that have several employees that specialize in Marketing Services for actual companies. (For example I found this company while Googling) www.marketingcore.ca. This is what I mean by legitimate in that they have several recognizable clients etc.

    Some questions if you do

    1) What is the entry level Salary at marketing companies?

    2) How likely is it to get entry level job if I only have a University Sociology 4 year degree?

    Any other advice?

    Hi there,

You don't actually need a degree, at least that's what happened to me before I launched my own Internet Marketing company.

They found me online due to some good rankings I had for several terms and they wanted to recruit me, I went to do the interview and they were amazed by what I knew so they offered me a 1 year old contract with no CV at all, just by looking what I had achieved.

And believe me we're speaking about a good company with giant corporate clients who wanted the everyday kind of marketing online such as Facebook Ads / Google Ads / Linkedin Ads / etc

So if you want to get recruited by a well-known company, you better prove yourself to them and believe me, the university isn't needed at all if you have the proper skills

    Cheers!
