My basic understanding of quality score is the google bot checks your main website for relevancy (or the domain the landing page is hosted on). Lets say I have a domain roses.com, which is my main site, and my landing page is located on red.roses.com, will google only check red.roses.com or will they check roses.com too, as far as landing page relevancy to website?

only the sub-domain. i.e. they will check the url that is defined as destination url of the Ad. You can simply figure this out by creating a script that writes every visit to a log file. you'll see the IP's and Useragent of the Google bot in your log file, but you wont see them in the top-level domain log file
