Recently tried out an offer on one of my websites for an android app ( per per free install ) Out of curiosity I downloaded the app to my own phone and found it to be dodgy. It downloads other apps and does dodgy stuff and I can't remove it through application manager. There is no option to stop it or remove it like I can with other apps. I have tried different methods suggested on other forums but this app seems to have locked itself into my phone

Does anybody know of another way to get rid of this withouth resetting my phone?

I took the pay per install offer off my website right away when I found how dodgy it was. Last thing I want to do is spread virus type apps to my website visitors. I don't know why the cpa network even allow this

You should try going to app manager, force stop the app, and then uninstall it from the phone. Is your phone rooted?

lol this is funny. Did you try to scam a buck out of the advertiser by clicking your own ad and installing? If only Adsense would do this on their network.

Can force stop all other apps, not this one.

Im not sure if it's rooted to be honest but I'l definitely look into that more shortly

no...I did it out of curiosity. they can keep the dollar if they suspect 1 false click. Is there fault for supplying me with a dodgy app.

Looks like my antivirus eventually got rid of the fucker. Just had a message pop up advising to uninstall it immediately. Now it seems to be gone.
