could you explain what happened please?
do your ranking dropped in these few days?I have 1800 guides "how choose" and "best products". 80% of the article exceeds 1000 - 1500 words, the article are good, why the sources are web sites with high traffic, but my site have from years a low traffic. I don't know why, but Google prefer to my site, sites spam with only a domain expired with good backlinks, but with all the text of pages identical, change only the keywords and the list of Product generate with aawp. I have Lost hope. In 5 years the traffic is gone from 500 users day to 350, to 250,and now 120 users day (for 1800 articles quality write from me). This don't is normal.
We have to update and rewrite articles to overcome this issue. From 25 May

Consistency is key...keep changing the rhythm as the enemy approaches. It depends on how obvious your affiliate site is.
I noticed that a lot of sites that are composed almost purely of "best of type content" went down the shitter.
While some of the owners of the sites tried to put on a brave face and some even denied that they get penalized, where there is smoke there is fire because a lot of affiliate sites got hit and hit hard.
There's a lot of chatter about this but many suspect that this has something to do with the EAT focus that Google has.
You have to come up with a clear and convincing way to communicate your expertise, authority, and trustworthiness.
Not putting up an about page or even a resource page can be a red flag.
While this does seem like an algorithmic issue, it shouldn't be so surprising that there's quite a number of manual penalties that occur in the wake of the latest update.
With that said, regardless of what you do and what you're going through, do not quit.
Add more content, focus on the actual flesh-and-blood users that go to your site, and deliver solid value.
Eventually, value will win out.
Don't obsess about "best of your commercial pages."
The vast majority of your site should be informative.
It should provide value.
The rest will take care of itself.
