When you find good keyword and you want to register site, but there is fraction of registered trademark in your keyword. What to you do? Do you even worry about this?

In my case, I have found pretty good kw (6000 exact), but "dell" is one part of keyword. Ten first sites ranking with this keyword are dell.com´s. I do research and im able to outrank those dell.com´s.

I just want to hear about your opinion: should I go for it or is there much more "safer" keywords I can choose from? :)

    Thanks.

i have 2 site that there trademark name in my sitename...

they have get good result and make some money ( i use for adsense site).

then the company name through their lawyer send me an email.. and ask me to transfer my domain name to them.. or i have to delete or not use anymore..

so, my suggest is .. better you forget them.. looking for the other niche... and make much money without worry everything..

I would definitely avoid this. Put your hard work and effort into a domain that can't get snatch up from you.

If your going to build out the site then I would purchase around the keyword instead of the trademarked term.

Yes avoid it, it is not worth it. Unless you plan to only monetize the site for a couple of months and its worth it in those few months before you lose it. Imagine your site is a big success and then suddenly they kill the domain. I´ve had that happen and it sucks so I would now always advise to go 100% legit and no1 can do you harm :)

I had two trademarked names in my domain and used it for 4 years. I changed it recently after getting an e-mail from one of the trademarked names that was already bankrupt, the other one was the big Twi... I got away unscathed but I would suggest not doing it.

Even though the one company was bankrupt I believe the trademark on the name is good for 50 years or something like that.

What if its a site that is somewhat promoting the item for the company. I have a domain, that I plan on listing where you can buy a certain product in the United States, because its rare to find. Will I just get a letter to stop using it or will I get sued?

Depends on the company. But you can have the domain taken and sued. If your in the US then it's definitely not worth the risk. If your out of the US then there are other options.

So its better to get a new domain that doesn't have the name in it?

My site has outrank their official site!
    first page, rank#1.

    my site= PR1

    What should I do?
Is it worth to sell the domain to them or just deleted from the hosting / registrar ?

Had this same issue a few months ago, ended up selling the domain to the trademark owner at the purchase cost, i'm pretty sure i could have squeezed a lot more, but hey, live and learn. Luckily i only had the site for a few days, and was still in embryo form, but would never try a stunt like that again.

my advise is to keep away from these names....i gave some back and let the other expire (actually deleted them from my account before they expire)...don't need the headache...have other stuff to worry about....
