Do You Use Plagiarism checker?

Do you or have you used plagiarism checker?


How accurate do you think it is? I mean can i trust its results enough to feel safe that my content is unique on my sites?

ive started using it, i usually get <20% for my own articles, always some sequence of 3 or 4 words that appear on another website I never visited, so i guess thats normal. all in all i'd say its working pretty accurately. would be interested in hearing more experienced user's opinions though

Sometimes it's not working properly.

I downloaded plagiarism checker X a few weeks ago (from the download section here on BHW), which i forgot i had until today. I used it and compared it with the plagiarism checker site in my original post.

I took a random 600 word article and re-wrote it in my own words. I submitted the re-written article to both and interestingly plagiarism checker X gave a result of 81% uniqueness and plagiarism checker gave a result of 100%

Not sure what to take from those results. Would be interesting to read the thoughts of others who have used these resources.

I have been using it for a long time now. Never been in trouble.

oh, yeah i use the x as well. dont know about the other one. but yeah 81-83% usually
