    Hi there,

I work and live for ages with the book "How you get what you want" by Raymond Hill. I pretty hate all those selfhelp books like Dale Carnegie and so on, because of the missing roadmap. The mentioned book by Hill is pretty straight forward and you can read and implement in your life.
The technique is very old and was written somewhere in the 60ies I think and thought that there has to be away to bring it into a more convinient and modern form. As the book is all about setting & defining goals, influence and keep yourself on track I searched for goaltrackers online.

    So far I found

    http://www.43things.com/

    http://www.achievr.biz/

    http://goalbot.org/

Did you use any of those? What are your experiences? I dont want to set them up and make efforts to find them useless after a day of useing them.

I don't have any feedback on any of those sites, but what I do personally is just have a personal blog (Wordpress installed on my local machine). I make WP pages for my goals, divided into the categories I use (health, work/career, financial, education/non-work goals, social/family). I make nice bullet pointed lists of goals, subgoals and actions to achieve them along with deadlines. Then I use the blog part of WP to keep a log of what I do every day, how my progress is going, problems I'm having etc... It kind of turns into a bit of a general diary. Works for me!
