    Hi,

I just discovered a site offering cheap contextual links. Looks like it's a PR5: http://pizcar.in/

But I suspect there's something going on there... Fake checker says the site is valid. Your ideas?

    Thanks

As a general rule - avoid getting links from sites that offer them publicly.

Since the last few updates Google has been getting extremely strict on sites selling links, and once the site in question gets shut down your site is likely to be hurt as well.

If possible, only do private deals with sites / blog networks that don't offer link selling publicly.

    Def a real PR...

They implement a social widget that displays on every page of websites that use the widget.

The footprint for their widget is "Powered by Twitter Fan Box & Pizcar"

    That's a do-follow link too

Majestic says they have 54,000+ backlinks from 165 different domains

    Looks legit.

    Hi,

Thanks. Well, to be honest... what made me think it is fake is the price: $3.5 for publishing a review of my site with a link. Pages like teliad.com charges you more than $100 for one of those.

    Thank you guys

its legit PR. next time you wanna find out whether a site is faking its PR, use either the following tests:
    in Google use:
    1. info:http://pizcar.in/
    2. cache: http://pizcar.in/

if either of tests return a different domain listing in Google, than it's a fake PR.
