Well, ONE of my friend asked me what kind of part-time job I work. I replied that I'm "working online" and he was impressed. I replied I am just a newbie to it (cos' I really am one).

Weeks later, my other friends all knew about it because that person i told obviously spread to them.
Then some of them asked me to teach them.

Then I wonder... would you ever teach your friends and would you teach your methods?

We've talked about this in the jvip section.. My experience is that people are lazy. I've got some friends who are jealous because I make money the way I do, but they won't do anything to make money themselves - even when I spoonfeed them.

This business isn't for everyone, I'm afraid..

Oh yeah, I get what you mean.

I remember when I first started IM and made my first $1,000 with Clickbank. I was very excited. One of my old friend knew about it and asked me to "coach" him. So we met up and I told him to start by creating a review website.
The problem is, he is very lazy. He wrote a horrible review page with horrible english (I know my english is considered horrible, but imagine me saying his english is more horrible). Then I told him to do backlinkings and such, but he didn't.

He just leave his review site alone... and everyday he login to his Clickbank account expecting to get a sale. Jeez...
When he gave up, he started calling me a "scammer". Months later, we met up and he asked how much I earned... I told him I earned about $5-6K within 14-weeks and he commented: "wow, you're a true scammer.. you scammed so well!"

    Jeez.

Note: not showing off my clickbank result; the earnings are still considered noobish.

At this point in my Im career no,,,I am just starting to make some decent money and I have my hands full keeping it all going...

I haven't even told most of them I am making money on the Internet. I told one of my friends and she just looked at me like "yea right". So I'm happy just refining my methods and scaling up to increase my income.

But there will come a day soon that I might let some of my friends in on my secret. Some of them could use the extra income and I know that my methods would work for them,,,just want to wait awhile till I am completely established.

    nice one, Boltblue.

Yeah, most people still have the perception that making money online is just a "scam". And even if you did make money online, people will think you're in some MLM business or a "scammer". I guess it's good that people still have this perception! This makes the IM business not as saturated as it should be. I mean it's already QUITE saturated, but if everyone knows making money online is possible, then it will be FULLY saturated.

I have showed multiple (close friends) people EXACTLY what I do to make money. Methods and everything. Here are the results:

1st guy - Made $1400 in his 1st week and quit due to guilt / karma issues for tricking people.
2nd guy - Made $1800 in his 1st 2 weeks and quit because he hadn't been paid yet (he was on monthlies). Once he got his check he never did IM again. Lazy.
3rd guy - Made $200 in his 1st couple days and didn't work again until he actually got his check. Once he got paid he earned another $130 from 2 days work and quit again. Lazy.
4th guy - Actually stuck with it. Dunno how much he made his 1st month but cleared 5 figures his 2nd month. Is still kicking ass to this day.

All I ever wanted from any of these people is to see them succeed. I never asked for kickbacks or a % split or anything like that. Although my 4th guy kicked major ass, and is still kicking ass, I am over showing people how to make money in IM for now. The fact that I show them a method and how to cover all the bases and not get caught, and actually get their money...and they don't use it...is pretty disheartening for me.

As for non-friends who ask what I do...simple answer..."Internet Marketing". If they press on, I "sell stuff online".

I tried teaching two people blackhat CPA techniques that were working for me (at the time). They both couldn't take the guilt of tricking other people and quit.

Gotta tell ya, that IS just laziness, cuz if I had made that kinda money my 1st couple of weeks I would've been hot to trot.

It took me a couple of months knockin my head against my computer before I started to see money. But I'm persistent,,,probably because I drove a truck full time for many years and a standard week of work doing that is like 70-80 hrs/wk...so this IM stuff is like waay easier, at least physically speaking.

And I had no one to take me by the hand and lead me, I had to spend a lot of time reading and lurking on this forum before I finally got things clicking (thanking God for BHW). Lot of trial and error and fucking things up and restarting,,,guess I'm kinda dense. But it definitely requires a "stick to it" attitude. Most people don't have that. Not that I'm patting myself on the back or anything. But generally speaking, I believe it is human nature to do only the minimal amount of work needed to get by in life. That kind of attitude just won't work when applied to IMing

Yeah I have offered to show a few friends how to get started online. Some took initial interest...a few others just told me I was spamming them?!? I mean, long time friends...of ten years or so.

So now I pretty much don't offer to show anyone unless they pretty much wont stop bugging me about it.

1st guy: Me and him started IM'ing together - I taught him some, he taught me some. He's still going strong and making a good amount of money.
2nd guy: Spoonfed him and he made about 2800$, then something changed and he gave up. Lazy.
3rd guy: Spoonfed him and he made about 40$, then he gave up. Lazy.

All the rest who ask me to teach them... "Digitalpoint"

Damn, they are just too narrow-minded i guess.

And I never agree that IM is against ethics or is "scamming".
We are just selling our services, of course this does not apply to eWhoring.

Take a salesman for an example. They are selling items that happens to be in our needs. Similar to IM-ing like selling CB products. You're just selling solutions to them.

Oh yeah, and as for eWhoring... those predators are stalking young innocent girls in the internet all the time. eWhorers are just bringing these perverts to paid-sites which has "willing" girls to satisfy them.

    Everybody's a winner!

No, never did, even when people asked me. Why? -Because I'm lazy to teach, but eager to learn. Why I don't give back? -Why should I? If they know, you can make $$$ online and is eager to make $$$ online, they will find a way to make $$$ online, regardless of moral issues and yadadayipyap.

    they are narrow-minded!
I've tried to spoon-feed some of them and simply gave up...
Will this work? Is this legal? Maaan, I heard of these CPA things...they are all a scam..blah, blah, blah.

Their interest returned when they saw me put a BLACKHAT plate on my new car bought with BHW money, but now I have no time for dealing with this BS.

    Yes, well-said guys.

What limits people's potential is their beliefs.
I used to feel the same way when I started IM, but I eliminated this beliefs.

the problem with teaching friends and relatives is that they expect you to just handout the cash to them. when you tell them you need to work they are like 'i dont wanna work, just tell me how you earn'
    that fucking sucks.

People are brainwashed period i use to think that going to school for an extra 5+ years would yield me stability. After wasting my time working in the corporate world and getting my feet wet i looked for alternatives and man now its the life ;)

Also basically to try and explain someone that people are making millions in their underwear is like pulling them out of the matrix........ We are just unplug (Corny but true)
