O.k. there is not such thing as the black hat party yet..

But if there is anyone out there who would like to help out a black hat regular with his political campaign make a donation below. You can even use PAYPAL!

To form an actual political party here in My state you would need 5,000 signatures from people who say they are members. The list would be publicly available. Would be kind of an MMPA hit list.

I live in Louisiana and I am the first person to register as a member of the pirate party. When I went last year and reregister from republican, the woman said I was the first to be entered into the database. Here one needs 1,000 signatures or 1,000 dollars to have it officially recognized.

What I don't understand is why the American pirate party is not a member of the international pirate parties group. Is there some stigma in America about being associated with international political movements?

    haha yes =) Piraten Partei.

Well, I would like to see them get their 5% to sit there, or even more. But please, just for internet related topics :) I can't imagen a BUNCH of geeks ruling a country, yet it would be better then current Lobbyists.

The big Geeks have lobbyists too i think..

Getting donations is harder than you think it is. I have been spreading this austerity + common sense message far and wide and received a wopping $35 in donations thus far... sucks.

Any idea what Union printing costs?

I used the open inviter script on my campaign site and input my gmail to send out invites to the site to all my contacts. It sent out the invites without my actual message or a link to my site.

Anyone have a clue what I did wrong?
