I think it's pretty clear from the title.

Do you manually submit every website you have to Alexa, or don't you?

I know that Alexa will pick up on any site on it's own eventually anyway, but i'm wondering if it's worth it for any reason to create an account and submit a few blogs i have or not?

I do on some sites I have but mostly I make sure that Alexa picks all of them up. Not because I think that there is any magic to having a decent Alexa ranking but because I go so tired of some people saying, "well, if your site is so good why is its Alexa ranking so bad?" So, to remove that from the discussion I just include Alexa as part of what I do on new sites.

I won't bother submitting my sites to alexa. Its just a useless and inaccurate metrics to guesstimate a site's traffic (unless your site is in the top 100).

I'd rather spend that time actually improving things on my site/seo/social media.

They will pickup your site eventually if you have backlinks they run same way as other crawler/bot, why do you bother getting Alexa - their information never accurate and mislead most of the time.

You can do that, but when you get traffic it will automatically recognize it, so I use EZMLM traffic generator which helps for both reasons.
