Do you still get juice from links that have been removed?

I'm considering using subb.seo's blog comment service from the marketplace. Everything looks really good, except the comments are removed 3-4 weeks after being posted. How exactly will this effect my rank and the juice I gained from these comments?

I was told that my rank would be unaffected by removing the comments, is this true?

If the links are removed, at some point you will lose juice. I have removed my own PBN links before.

Edit: and rank will drop as well.

How long do you think the juice would last for? It's a premium service, a lot of great reviews but I'm not sure if it's worth paying for something that will be removed in weeks.

I'd say 3-4 months at the most in the current environment, OP.

Thanks probably not worth using that service then. I'm trying to get some quality bulk links out there for my link profile and I need links that will stick around.

I'm not sure what type of actual experience the above posters have with this issue - however, as I've reported here before, I have never seen a decline in rankings after removing links. None. Zero.

There is some sort of "link echo" after removal, but long term link loss means ranking loss. If you don't see a ranking loss some time after removal, it basically means these links never had any effect on your rankings.

    According to who or what?

I've literally had ONE backlink increase my PR - lost it - and didn't go back down.

So, the BL had a positive impact but once removed - no negative impact. Why?

    - Are you saying you removed your links and you STOPPED any link building after that and you kept your ranking intact?
    - Was this a competitive keyword?
    - Did the domain have good authority where removing few links will not make that much difference?

Personally I have some situations where the ranking stayed for a while after removing the links but the keyword was not very competitive
