I know for myself I would sometimes like to change but have no idea what else to do so I stick to digital marketing in my career and personal project.

However I worked in a non profit before and was paid quite well also, I sometimes miss it.

I also wondered if I should have not work in the tourism as I always liked to travel and teach people about different places.

this life is sad because you can't do or explore everything as we only have limited time.

And you, what do you think? Do you sometimes wish to do something different.

And no BS "having a job is for losers only " reply please.

Nope. I like what I do, due to many reasons.
Extra: I do volunteer stuff often, so I am also keep in touch with the real world.

Touristic travel is a good idea, because I also like to travel&share with others the history of x and y places. So, yeah: I suppose I could be a good tour guide.

Yeah I am starting to wonder if I would not like to stop being on the computer and really focus all my time in the "real world" like you say.

Of course there is many bullshit jobs but tourism is really a good occasion to present knowledge to people and be rewarded by happy faces that you see daily in front of you. This is highly rewarding.

In the non profit I worked for we realised dreams of sick children, it was very very rewarding as you see the feedbacks of children meeting their biggest icons that they never thought they could see some day.

PS: I also had contacts with Roger Federer in real as he is from my country + Cristiano Ronaldo, Zidane and others. It was nice to speak to these people in real as you discover their true self without BS.

See like digital marketing is something that can be worked on itself... But you're not getting anywhere if all you're doing is digital marketing...

Learn how to develop your own work, tools, learn how to use tools yourself... Learn how to do up your own graphics, learn how to communicate better. Networking is something we all better daily, we could work on bettering our ideas of good services & products.

There's so much in digital marketing that if you're sitting trying to study digital marketing after a good understanding of digital marketing, you're slow...

Says the rookie.

I have a day job as a computer technician and am currently trying to get a job as a software dev.
I only started looking into IM to make my little projects more popular. I've gone down some rabbit holes as well doing IM.
My quiz journey is an example of such a rabbit hole.

For anyone curious my software dev background is in automation utilizing python and javascript(node.js is pretty awesome).

Yeah I am old and can't develop new skills. Almost 30 I am finished.
Really wrong. Hope you are joking. I am 37 and have to learn new things every odd month to stay in the business. My father learned how to use computers, mobile phones and so on, because he wanted to be online. There is no age for learning. You just have to have the passion.

Yes. I would love to leave this space completely especially SEO. I’m building a farm on 148 acres. Not the traditional kind of farming of vegetables and livestock though.
What do you farm?
